Drywall and Plaster Repair Workshop with Myron
Ferguson
This is a hands-on class involving
a variety of drywall, plaster repairs and finishing techniques in
order to create that perfect base (canvas) before any final finish
is applied.
Learn about various paper and mesh
tapes as well as how to embed them. You will learn about fill and
finish coats and drywall preparation for priming, paint and decorative
wall treatments.
Hands-on activities involve properly
mixing different compounds; learning to tape a seam, an inside and
outside corner as well as apply the fill and finish coats. Learn
how to do wide variety of repairs from hairline cracks to a 10-inch
hole, all in a single day!
You will practice different methods
of skim coating a wall with the goal to minimize sanding and still
create a perfectly flat surface.
This is an invaluable course for
any painter and decorative finisher whether they are a professional
or an amateur.

is not getting his hands dirty in his drywall contracting
