Students will learn professional methods to accomplish mural work
- from perspective to lay-out, design, composition and execution.
We will do perspective, light and shadow studies with charcoal on
newsprint, then acrylics. Palette mixing with acrylics in mediums
suitable for the mural work to be rendered will be done by each
student.
Each student will work on his/her own panels to render a mural
in the style of "Maxfield Parrish", focusing
on foreground, receding spaces, background and key imagery. INdividula
attention is given to each student and you will have your own canvas
to take home.
As always in our Mural painting class, an extensive study of drawing
and painting techniques will be covered using a variety of mediums.
Individual attention is given to each student.
A list of brushes and/or palette knives and other materials
will be supplied to students attending the workshop.
